Anthony's Pub Worker Punched In Face, 1 Arrested

JOLIET, IL — Less than two months after Joliet police arrested two patrons of the Anthony’s Restaurant and Pub for violence, officers were sent to Anthony’s latae Wednesday night. The incident at 3151 Voyager Lane resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Joliet resident Ryan Treece.

Treece was charged with battery and officers released him on an I-bond.

Around 11:40 p.m., Joliet police learned of a fight at Anthony’s pub.

“Officers determined that Treece began yelling at a male Anthony’s employee and then struck the employee once in the face,” police spokesman Dwayne English notified Joliet Patch. “The staff then called 911. Treece was placed into custody without incident.”

Anthony’s Bouncer Shot On I-55 By Ejected Customers: Forfeiture

A 37-year-old bouncer at Anthony’s Pub and Restaurant was the victim of the Dec. 13 shooting on Interstate 55. Two young men thrown out of the Joliet bar that night waited in a nearby parking lot to follow the bouncer, and they shot him in his truck between Joliet and Shorewood, according to a new civil forfeiture complaint.

February 2021:

Woman Punched In Face At Anthony’s Bar By Cicero Man: Cops

Joliet police remain busy on the weekends making arrests involving some of the customers who frequent Anthony’s Pub and Restaurant, 3151 Voyager Lane near the Louis Joliet Mall. Early Saturday morning, Joliet police hauled away 23-year-old Cicero resident Victor Salgado in handcuffs, charging him with battery.
