  • Mayor Lori Lightfoot has launched a program that would reimburse Chicagoans and business owners if they install security cameras and register them with the police department. ” By having existing businesses and residents registering their cameras, you are literally becoming our eyes and ears,” the mayor said.   • General Iron wants to return to Lincoln Park. The owner of the controversial scrapyard shut down its North Clifton location more than a year ago after a series of noise and pollution complaints. City Hall recently denied the companies application to move its operation to the Southeast Side. (ABC7)
