Carmen A. ‘Butch’ Chellino

Carmen Anthony Chellino passed away at Silver Cross Hospital with his loving wife, Bonnie, by his side.
Survived by his devoted wife Bonnie (Lewis) and wonderful sister Sharon Farner; six children, Mark (Angela), Joe(Amy), Christine, Tina (Todd) Capielano, Kimberly (Jeff) Prachter and Nicole (Elliott) Nazos; and five stepchildren, Robert Preboy, Christine Marek, Daniel (Colleen) Preboy, Raymond (Donna) Preboy and Sandra( Nick) Harned.
Preceded in death by Frank Chellino Sr. and Constance Sediakas; brother, Frank (Diane) Chellino; niece Kelly (Paul) Stafanich; and stepdaughter, Georgia Preboy.
Born in Joliet and a long time resident of Braidwood, IL. Retired from Olin Chemical and Empress Joliet. Butch loved spending time with his family,all the kids and grandkids. Most important to him was knowing that they were healthy and happy. Carmen “Butch” was a wonderful husband and loved by all who knew him.
Due to COVID-19, private funeral services were held for immediate family only at Tezak Funeral Home. Per Carmen’s request cremation rites were accorded.
