NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police seized 2.9 grams of ecstasy pills and a “large amount of cash” during a traffic stop that took place early New Year’s Day, a social media post from the Naperville Police Department said.
Gerald Miller-Triplett, 40, of Forest Park, was charged with felony drug possession in connection with the incident. Additional charges are pending, as the investigation is still underway, Naperville Police Commander Michaus Williams told Patch via email.
Miller-Triplett was initially pulled over in the 400 block of North Route 59 for driving without headlights on, per the police department’s post. Police say they began questioning Miller-Triplett after they noticed “suspicious behavior.”
