MILAN-Gary W. Eddy, 69, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Services will be at a later date in Rockford. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.
Gary was born May 22, 1952, in Brilliant, Alabama to Ellie Hugh and Frances (Kimbrell) Eddy. Gary formerly worked at Growth Enterprise in Rockford. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors include his mother, Frances; brother, Mike (Sandy) Eddy, Kenosha, Wisconsin; sister, Jeanine Hernandez, Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Ellie Hugh, and brother-in-law, Dan Hernandez.
