James S. “Jamie” Lowe, age 65 of Naperville, IL formerly of Chicago, Glenview, IL passed away, Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. He was born December 19, 1956 in Washington D.C. to his loving parents, Joan and the late James S. Lowe, Sr.. Cherished husband of Janet K. Lowe, nee Brady, wedded on June 4, 1988. Loving father of Jacqueline Lowe and Jillian Lowe. Dearest brother of Shaun (Kim) Lowe. Dear uncle of Kate, Matthew, and Emma Lowe. Best four legged friend and buddy “Jagger” the dog and “Archie” the cat. Jamie graduated from Niles North High School, class of 1975. He also graduated from DePaul University, receiving his degree in Political Science. Jamie spent his entire career in residential real estate, working for multiple agencies early on and later as an independent broker as James Lowe Reality in 2000. He was an avid sailboat racer with 45 years Sailing to Mackinaw Island and former commodore of the Island Goats Sailing Society in Chicago. He was a former trustee for the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department for many years and also a former committee man for the DuPage County Republicans. Jamie was an active fundraiser for the ‘Friends of Lisle Township Food Pantry’. He was also an avid runner and athlete. In lieu of flowers, a future memorial is being established in memory of Jamie, please make donations to Janet Lowe.
