Mary A. Friddle, 77, of Plainfield, IL, passed away on March 14, 2022. She was born on January 21, 1945, in Chicago, IL, to Louise (nee Mather) and Stephen J. Lang.
Loving mother of Richard L (Peggy) Friddle Jr., and Michael (Janet) Friddle. Grandmother of Kelsie Friddle, Matthew Friddle, Kyle Hanlon, Jarod Hanlon, and Richard Hanlon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 51 years Richard L. Friddle Sr., and brother James Lang.
Mary grew up in Plainfield, IL and attended Plainfield High School class of 1963. She went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Madison. Mary worked for Dr. Frank C. Bender for over 25 years, she later went to work for Christian Brothers Services as a benefits coordinator.
After her retirement Mary worked extensively with the Pulmonary Rehab Support Group, part of the Edward Foundation. Mary was very active in all of her grandchildren’s interests and activities she could often be found attending sporting events and activities.

Visitation Monday March 21, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Overman Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 21, 2022, 11:30AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2500 Arbeiter Rd, Joliet, IL 60431. With Burial at Plainfield Township Cemetery.
