At Rest, Friday, February 25, 2022 at his late residence at Solstice Senior Living at Joliet. Born in Chicago, IL the son of the late Edward and Cecelia Kalchbrenner. Beloved Husband of the truly missed, late Sandra J. Kalchbrenner (2013). Proud Father of Kris (Albert) Mondrella and Scot (Debra) Kalchbrenner; Dearly Loved Grandfather of Ali and Eli Mondrella and Sam and Alex Kalchbrenner; Fond Brother of Robert (Peggy) Kalchbrenner, the late Helen (the late Bill) Zenisek and the late Edward (the late Dottie) Kalchbrenner. Also left to mourn his passing are numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a merrymaker and jokester at heart.
He will be fondly remembered for his kind sense of humor and his “Joke of the Day” at the Solstice breakfast table. He treasured the company of others, whether it was “going out to lunch”, playing cards at the Troy Senior Center or simply celebrating life. Bill had an accomplished career as a Pharmacist and was the proud owner of Wood Ridge Drugs. He enjoyed traveling and collecting vintage pill bottles, apothecary and Pharmaceutical Antiques.
